An anti-abrasive sleeve is a protective cover fitted over or around a lifting sling to help reduce friction and wear where it touches the load. It provides a barrier between the sling and abrasive surfaces.

The right sling protection sleeve depends on the sling dimensions, contact area and application.

It does not increase the sling’s lifting capacity, and abrasion protection should not be assumed to provide protection against sharp cuts.
